Upload a photo. Get seen.
Your profile is 4.3 times more likely* to be viewed by employers if you have a profile picture uploaded. Without one, some will assume your profile is incomplete. It doesn’t have to be a professional headshot—just a clear photo of you with a simple background.

Max out your skills section.
Skills are one of the main ways employers find you on Seen. Boost your chances of getting contacted by adding as many skills as possible (up to 21). Choose specific tools, technologies and methodologies over general terms if you can.
Customize your tagline.
Your tagline is one of the first things an employer sees when they find your profile. Now’s the time to stand out. Use this cheat sheet to help you write a powerful, eye-catching tagline.
Build out your work history & education.
Complete these sections and list the key tech you used in your descriptions. You’ll help us surface quality matches for you while encouraging employers to view your full profile.
Add links to your social profiles.
In the Recommended tab, include links to your work on GitHub, a portfolio website or LinkedIn. If it’s production quality, employers want to see it.
Expand your location preferences.
Tell employers if you’re open to a move. In your Job Preferences tab, select all locations you’re willing to consider, including remote work.
(Note: Employers on Seen know that the salary you specify is based on your current location, not other locations you select.)
