Why are you passionate about your field/role?

I’m passionate about my field/role because I’ve always been mathematically oriented and a very logical thinker and this job has allowed me to work with people who have great experience coming up with well-designed solutions.

What does “going further” mean to you in your career?

To me, going further in my career means that I will be integral to the process of designing the grander application as opposed to designing/implementing just my piece of the puzzle. Also, it means that I will be mentoring new employees, helping them with anything from generic HR things to anything specific to coding for an application.

What drove you to look for a new role?

I was previously in a QA role and I was looking to launch my career in software development. I majored in computer engineering in college and wanted to continue improving and working on my skills within that realm.

How did Seen help in your job search?

Seen provided me with opportunities that were exactly what I was looking for, which were junior to mid-level software development roles that had a great track record of mentoring. And that is exactly what I ended up getting with Kapsch.

What excites you about your new company/role?

I think what excites me most with my new company/role is that there is a noticeable push to be using the most up-to-date technologies. Furthermore, I love that part of the company culture is to really take new employees under their wing and show them the ropes. When I first started I was absolutely lost learning all of these new acronyms for specific projects, proprietary software, etc. but since then, I have become super comfortable with most things and that wouldn’t have been possible without help from my co-workers.
