Why are you passionate about your field/role?

As it pertains to the medical industry, it’s very rewarding to know that what you do, even from an IT perspective, helps with improving the life of another human being. It makes you want to do more. Motivates you to think harder. Work harder. Because even indirectly, you’re helping another person improve their current circumstances.

What does “going further” mean to you in your career?

Going further to me means constantly learning. For some, finances are the gauge for success. But, for me, it’s about the knowledge that I acquire. The accolades and the money are all great, make no mistake about it. But my primary goal with any position that I take on is to learn.

What drove you to look for a new role?

Honestly, I was laid off from a company that I was with for five years previously. I got a job at a place that wasn’t very fulfilling. But at the time, I couldn’t turn down the position because life doesn’t pause for you. During my brief stop at the new place, I knew it wasn’t for me. So I turned to ol’ reliable Indeed. And of course it didn’t fail me.

How did Seen help in your job search?

Seen pointed positions to me that actually matched what I was interested in doing as well as knowing what my skill set is. It’s a really awesome tool. As if Indeed itself wasn’t good enough, Seen takes it to another level.

What excites you about your new company/role?

The history of the company I’m with excites me. To be part of an organization whose sole purpose is to help people without regard for turning profits is refreshing. Something I genuinely love. Additionally, the new industry is a welcomed challenge. Transitioning from bottom line driven to humanity driven is really an eye opening experience.
