Adhesion is looking to add a Systems Engineer to the growing Adhesion Systems team. As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will ensure that Adhesion’s network and systems continue to be reliable. You will work on projects and deploy new servers, desktop/laptop computers and users and will be a primary problem solver for IT service issues. You will work on routine system performance analysis, automation of system management, network troubleshooting, setup, system administration and more. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and expand their professional experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage users and computers in Windows Active Directory, and Office 365
Assist with the administration of the organization’s servers and network
Manage end-user hardware and software and track equipment inventory and licensing
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues
Document and update procedures used by the Systems Team
Monitor systems daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Assist the Systems Manager with any assigned project tasks, i.e., researching new products, testing equipment
Work with the various departments to ensure all systems are meeting their needs while improving workflows and automating tasks to alleviate bottlenecks
Skills and Requirements:

Ability to perform Tier 1 support for end-users using a ticketing system
Capable of troubleshooting Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange issues
Capable of troubleshooting laptop/desktop computers running Windows 10
Ability to multitask as well as being able to collaborate in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Desired Skills:

Ability to learn and retain new technology skills and troubleshooting processes
Experience with Windows Server 2019/2016/2012
Basic Active Directory skills
Familiarity with PowerShell, Python or alternative scripting languages
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
Basic understanding of networking protocols and practices
Ability to react to dynamic situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
