This position supports an exciting and rewarding contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Securing America’s transportation systems with cutting edge technology and security infrastructure. The Automated Test Engineer will develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Execute test scripts during internal system testing.
Document test issues and works with development team to validate/recreate.
Perform retesting and regression testing.
Document test results for incorporation into the Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix.
Provide support to Client testers during acceptance testing, including test script walkthroughs, document testing issues and test results, and answering questions on system functionality.
Develop and implement program test plans, quality assurance plans, programs, and procedures using the testing tools.
Oversee tests to ensure that performance and quality products conform to established policy and standards.
Develop test reports.
Review analyze and report on quality discrepancies related to software and systems engineering.
Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
Interface with all program staff to ensure requirements are met.
Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Participate in meetings as required.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to gain and maintain TSA Suitability.
Minimum 3 years’ Test experience.
1+ years of experience using Rational Functional Tester
Active TSA Suitability
ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
TSA 508 Tester certification
Use of Open Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g. Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured)
Experience with WATT, Rational Clear Case, Ration Clear Quest, Rational Requisite Pro, Rational Quality Manager (RQM)
