With significant revenue and customer gains over the past two years, the company is hiring our first business analyst to handle analytics and strategic insights for the Marketing & Product teams. This person’s charter is to identify and drive strategic and operational improvements that deliver sustainable increases in traffic, revenue, conversion, AOV, and product engagement. Responsibilities include:
Partner with Marketing to deliver strong financial results via analytically-driven insights (including customer acquisition & retention, multi-touch attribution, channel mix, etc.)
Partner with Product to analyze and research how our product performs and develop data-driven proposals on how to implement improvements to better serve our users.
Provide analytical support via hands-on work leveraging relevant tools (Excel, Google Analytics, Amplitude, SQL, Tableau, Mixpanel, etc.)
Identify actionable insights, exercise sound business judgment, and make recommendations to influence the direction of Hatch’s business.
Work with relevant stakeholders to structure and execute disciplined tests, measure and analyze results, and present findings.
Manage ongoing reporting needs to enable the team to track against KPIs and business targets.
Identify analytic infrastructure needs, to enable continued scaling of the business.
3-5 years relevant business experience (post-college) solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
Prior experience in consulting, investment banking, or technology operating company (ideally with direct-to-consumer experience).
Passionate about consumer technology.
Desire to work in small (25-person) fast-growing company, to help it accelerate its growth as it broadens its market reach.
Superior hands-on analytic skills.
Exceptional problem solver with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights.
Strong interpersonal collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree required.
