Performs Security and Information Assurance (IA) services to support Security and IA activities in support of Intelligence Community (IC) and other mission partner cybersecurity efforts, ensuring that strategic planning objectives and their resulting development capabilities align and support the Federal Information Security and Management Act (FISMA).
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Experience coordinating with government entities preferred
Bachelor of Science or Technology degree in a related engineering/technical Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, plus relevant experience as a Cyber or Information Security Engineer is required to meet managerial expectations. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Certifications required to satisfy the DoD 8570.01-M requirements for IAT-II. IAT-II Certification requirements require one or more of the following:
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
Ability to solve practical problems while considering a variety of variables specific to the situation. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.
