This Senior Enterprise Network Engineer will be one of the senior members of the ITS Networking and Telecommunications (Core Networking) team, leading both design and operations to provide efficient, effective and excellent network solutions for a growing and transformational campus. Key emphasis for this position will be the enterprise Wi-Fi system. You will be working closely with other technical leads, system & application engineers, IT technical managers, and IT leadership to provide knowledge and assist in developing training to increase technical support skills on campus.
Demonstrated experience designing, building, and operating campus/enterprise networks (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi) including Wi-Fi networks using central controller-based systems
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing FCAPS (components or entire systems)
Demonstrated experience with Cisco router and firewalls and experience dealing with/resolving security issues on servers and networks
Strong understanding of common network and application communications protocols
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education experience
Familiarity with Software Defined Networking
Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship
