CNS Media are one of the fastest-growing full-service regional media agencies in the UK. We have offices in South Yorkshire and the West Midlands with aspirations to expand into further regions. Our services cover regional and national media planning & buying for TV, radio, out of home, press, magazines, ambient, digital marketing, web development and Motion Graphics.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

Ensuring your work is in line with the organisation’s or client’s overall brand
Reporting into the Head of digital, you will work to ensure the growth and quality of our client’s brand
Developing front end website architecture
Designing user interactions on web pages
Developing back end website applications
Creating servers and databases for functionality
Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
Testing code to ensure security and performance
Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Designing and developing APIs
Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Key Required Skills

You need excellent communication (written and verbal) and confident presentation skills in order to pitch ideas to internally and also explain your ideas to members of the creative team.
Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You need a clear vision while remaining open to others’ ideas.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js, Angular JS, or React
Proficiency with server-side languages, such as PHP
Familiarity with database technology, such as Postgres, MySQL or MongoDB
Proficiency with version control, such as GIT
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail.

Relevant experience

We are ideally looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and has a minimum of 2-3 years of industry experience, however, we are always willing to give people opportunities if they have less experience, and can really show us their potential and a strong reason to invest in.

Working Expectations

Our regular operating hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm; 37.5h per week, however, There may be times when we require you to work longer hours as project deadlines approach when required.
