About the job
The IS Solutions Product Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering internal projects within the IS work programme.

Key Accountabilities:
Oversee tasks and work packages identified as required, within formalised work processes and/or agreed with managers consent and where possible, to resolve requests/problems immediately

Oversee the design, specification and implementation of new systems, as agreed with the Corporate Manager – Head of Information Systems, including the preparation of technical specifications and system documentation to ITIL and ISO Standards.

Oversee the evaluation of potential applications by analysis of business requirements and systems evaluation and oversee the support of designated systems, taking ownership of product problems, changing requirements and for maintaining communication with both internal and external customers

Oversee the development (including all agile lifecycle) including testing using Azure DevOPs with particular reference to Microsoft .NET.

Initiate, plan and manage appropriate projects in accordance with agreed standards, using AGILE techniques (SCRUM, SPRINTS & PIEPELINES) where appropriate, and contribute to the preparation of the annual service plan.

To provide written updates on projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Liaise with customers to ensure clarity of their ICT product requirements and oversee training of the ICT software specific to their business operation.

Qualifications and Experience

The post holder will have a Degree in software engineering or equivalent along with AGILE Product Management or PRINCE2. The post holder will have demonstrable experience in delivering software products, experience in the use of AZURE DevOPS or Software Library/Build Toolset along with Visual Studio
