Responsible for:
Working within the IS Solutions Team delivering technical process deisgn.

About the job
Working within the IS Solutions team, the Business Analyst will deliver excellent service to customers, support appropriate use of products, using specialist skills and knowledge to support colleagues, and customers whilst ensuring continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:
Analyse, validate, prioritise and document functional and non-functional requirements prior to software build using UML techniques and Azure DevOPs Management. This is in accordance with designated work processes for achieving measurable improvements in delivery of customer requirements.

Assist and define technical business requirements while liaising with customers to support future business improvements aligned to product roadmaps, as agreed by the IS Solutions Product Manager.

Maintain a sound knowledge of technology, process and data models currently in use whilst being able to undertake tasks and work packages as required, using structured software technical analyst techniques e.g UML.

Assist and define acceptance testing requirements with the IS Quality Assurance and Testing Officer in relation to all products in use

About You
Qualifications and Experience

The post holder will ideally have a Degree in software engineering or equivalent and demonstrable experience of software design techniques using UML or BPMN2 (Business Process Modelling Notation2) along with experience in the use of Visual Studio workbench and Visio Professional or equivalent.
