GDS Associates, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Analyst in the Marietta, GA office. The Project Consultant in the IT Department is responsible for providing technical support services for employees and clients. As a consultant, this individual will work directly with clients to provide excellent customer service and IT support services. This individual will be responsible for answering help desk calls and responding to client needs with skill and efficiency. This individual will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to workstation/server configurations and maintenance; desktop application support; support of wireless technology; network equipment configurations and maintenance; and configuration and support of cloud-based services. Other responsibilities are listed below.
Design, development and maintenance of hardware and software systems that provide highly available and high performance service.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leadership, ensuring daily technology service needs are met and issues resolved.
Develop technology strategies that support long-term growth and sustainability. Develop an operational plan that is flexible in a changing environment.
Collaborate with peers to set standards of high quality service, consultation, and product to customers through understanding of business needs and through the development of seamless transition of work processes across departments in the IT division.

Five or more years of relevant IT/technical experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in technical related field (Computer Science or Information Systems).
Ability to work with and educate end users including clearly communicating technical information to non-technical users.
Working knowledge of the Windows Server operating system and related technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RRAS, RD Gateway, and other).
Working knowledge of networking and firewall concepts (e.g., NAT policies and firewall rules).
Must have own transportation to drive to client sites (Atlanta area).
* Programming and software development skills preferred.
