Level 1 or 2 Technician/Engineer as outsourced IT for clients in central Alabama
Remote and onsite support of end users and client networks
8am-5pmCT normal business hours (some after hours work)
Reasonable working environment, flexible
On-call approx one week every two months
Overnight travel a rarity
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Professional work ethic, appearance, and demeanor
Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network traffic.
Working knowledge of networking, routing, and firewalls
Working knowledge of Windows client and server Operating Systems, Windows networking, AD, and administration
Design, implementation, management, and support of client IT infrastructures.
Documentation of client systems and policies
Work effectively in a team environment
Preferred : Education / Experience
2+ years experience in IT
Certifications : Microsoft, Cisco, Adtran, CompTIA, etc.
Advanced knowledge of all areas listed above as well as Security, VoIP, VPN, VLAN, DNS
