Oran’s HeathCare client is seeking a Java Software Developer to support a complex, highly visible mission application. As a Java Developer, you should possess full life cycle development experience in an Agile development in Java environment.
This role requires a Client Public Trust clearance for which the individual must have lived in the US 3 of the last 5 years.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Gather Requirements and analyze them to understand the functionality of existing Legacy application and Design solutions for the Use cases.
Attending Scrum Calls and project meetings on daily basis.
Responsible for developing interfaces which interact with Front-end Application and Unit testing application using Core Java.
Responsible in development and design of cross platform applications using Object Oriented Programming, J2EE technologies.
Form classes of STRUTS Framework to write the routing logic and to call different services.
Responsible for deploying web applications on WEB/Application servers like IBM WebSphere.
Responsible for writing Web Services using SOAP and REST for sending and getting data from the external interface.
Also, responsible to use SOAPUI and Postman tools to test the web service operations.
Responsible for preparing Test Plan, Test Cases and resolve defects.
Closely interacting with peers and Business Analysts regarding the requirement queries, requirement changes and suggestions during the Development Sprints.
Create Product Documentation, Functionality/Help Documentation for the application users and document key lessons learnt after each sprint.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must possess full stack life cycle application development experience with large complex modular systems that includes engineering, design, coding, debugging, and unit testing in a Java environment
Have know;edge on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Must be able to integrate software with existing systems
Must possess strong development experience with Java, Spring, Linux, and Hibernate
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience following established development processes and procedures to include sprint planning and code reviews
Proven skillset developing and maintaining applications documentation
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to provide on-call operational support
Demonstrated ability to prepare and brief comprehensive Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project documentation (e.g., requirements, design interface control, security, etc.)
Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment with changing requirements and priorities
Ability to take direction to define and implement solutions as requirements are being identified and finalized
Keeping the big picture in mind to ensure that the pieces make up the final solution
Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research
Eligibility to receive Federal Public Trust clearance
Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with some of the following: Web services, REST, APIs, XML, MySQL, Oracle, Linux and/or Unix, J2SE, PowerShell, SOAP, Eclipse, Apache Maven, Apache Tomcat, and Bash scripting
Candidate must have 5 Years of relevant experience and minimum Bachelors degree
