Job Description:

Public Safety Application domain expertise within Computer Aided Dispatch, Video Management, Incident Command, Smart City, Internet of Things (IoT) or related domains. Works with the Business Development organization to analyze market trends, understand value chain, competitive offerings and potential partners. Develop and drive short-term and long-term product roadmaps for continuous business growth.

Working knowledge of Software-as-a-service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (Paas) or Cloud technologies and business models.
Contribute to translating market and customer requirements into a prioritized roadmap in collaboration with wider product team.
Analyze and specify product enhancements, integrating the work of research and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales and service functions for all or part of new product offerings.
Provide technical consultation to field personnel and customers during the life cycle of new product offerings.
Participate in, prepare and present product introduction strategies; go-to market strategies.
Manage product offering through each phase of the checkpoint process.
Manage the cost and schedule requirements of product line offering through all phases from proposal to distribution.
Experience Business development or Product Line Management.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Minimum of 9 years’ experience working in the Public Safety, Utility or adjacent markets with an emphasis on Product Line Management
Preferred Additional Skills:

Presentation skills, specifically with management, customers, trade shows and industry associations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations (Sales, Marketing & Engineering)
Data Management and Analytics
