Under the guidance of the strategy office, establish and maintain a Quality Assurance and Quality Control program to ensure the consistent delivery of technical systems to operational environments. Analyze metrics and establish controls to regulate Research and Development efforts throughout the development lifecycle across multiple projects. Create processes necessary to validate a system to customer requirements. Establish the process to document the testing, validation, and acceptance of systems and features prior to deployment.
Five to Ten years of combined experience in a QA/QC and/or Project Management Role. Understanding of the Software and Systems Development Lifecycles. Experience working in an operationally driven environment. Prior operational military or government experience is favorable.
Establish quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications.
Understand tactical and operational needs to drive deliverable requirements.
Assess requirements and establish testing and acceptance criteria.
Work with Quality Control Engineers across multiple concurrent products and projects to implement QA Management Plan for Quality Control Testing and Acceptance.
Establish process control documentation and workflows to manage outputs throughout the production development lifecycle.
Create metrics to monitor and optimize performance and identify non-conformity issues prior to product delivery.
Desired Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering or Business Disciplines, comparable relevant experience (or a sufficient combination thereof).
Active Secret Security Clearance (Favorably adjudicated NACLC within the last 10 years, and active within the last two years.)
Must be willing to submit a technical writing sample.

We do a lot with open source code. Specifically, we focus on Java and often within a Linux OS. Android, Fortigate, CentOS, Ansible and common. Additionally, on the developer side of the house we work with Angular with UI, Node.js & Java for mid layer and lastly, we work with the following databases - MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
