We are a website development company seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer. The QA Engineer must ensure that quality products are being shipped out everyday, while minimizing the risk of bugs getting out by catching them before they deploy. The QA Engineer will ensure quality products are being delivered to the real world by devoting their time to meticulously sifting through the entire project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to act as the last line of defense before the product comes out.
Must be able to recognize bugs apart from intended features.
Creates a plan of action on how to ensure that the product is up to standard.
Finds ways to push the product to it’s boundaries and ensures that the product still maintains quality form.
Improves current QA processes, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
Must be able to test previous versions of the product and determine causes for discovered bugs.
Must be able to isolate causes of bugs by means of Root Cause Analysis or other methods.
Must be able to automate current plans to improve steady workflow.
Responsible for acting as the second developer, and review code that is being pushed into the product.
Responsible for knowing the product and identifying outliers once new code is pushed in.

Minimum Qualifications:
A broad understanding of computer systems and software standards.
Hands-on scripting (automation) experience in any of the following languages - JAVA, Python, Ruby, Groovy. Hands-on QA & white box testing, and automation experience.
Knowledge of QA test technologies like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG or equivalent technologies.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.
Hands-on experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience testing software at API level.
Knowledge of cloud enabled services/applications.
Knowledge of distributed source control systems such as Git.
