WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Design, implementation, governance and support of key technology platforms that support our digital transformation.
Be or become an expert in one or more of the following platforms: Amazon AWS, Kafka, Mulesoft.
Design, develop, test and debug applications.
Partner with the business, understand objectives and current challenges to assist in designing solutions.
Act as an internal consultant and mentor to more junior staff. Provide task-level leadership, guidance, and direction.
Support Company Information Services policies and standards.
Ensure the appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse.
Pursue Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving on a routine basis to identify and implement continuous process improvements.

Able to influence and collaborate with development, infrastructure and operations teams as well as business leadership to build out the technical capabilities that are needed to solve enterprise interoperability between AWS cloud-based solutions and on-premise solutions.

3 or more years’ experience as in a software engineering role
1 or more years’ experience architecting and implementing one or more of the following platforms; Mulesoft, Kafka, Amazon AWS
Experience with microservices development and design patterns
Working knowledge of Java web applications (Spring Cloud, Spring Boot)
Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
