We are currently looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join the internal IT Team. The Senior Network administrator will be supporting the fast growing FTI corporate Information Technology team.
Supporting and planning of the enterprise data center. Strong diagnostic, analytical and engineering skill sets. Provide top tier problem solving, innovative solutions, and recommendations. Day to day working knowledge supporting hardware and software in the enterprise data center.
Responsible for Microsoft Exchange email and administration of both on-premises servers and cloud hosted O365 environments.
Strong Azure and Active Directory skill set.
Responsible for building and supporting connectivity and maintenance of enterprise LAN/WAN architecture, including development environments, server implementations, multi-factor authentication implementations, and SharePoint.
Expert knowledge of data center hardware, SAN, NAS, router, and firewall experience required.
Experience with auditing, scripting and server configuration.
Responsible for supporting the team with escalated end-user support issues.
Position is a member of the corporate IT team reporting to the Senior Director of IT.
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
8+ years applied experience specifically with Exchange email servers, enterprise server environments and VMWare
Expert knowledge of data center hardware, networking, and SAN configurations
Diagnostic, analytical and engineering skill sets to support problem solving and innovative solution recommendations
Multi-factor authentication implementation experience
Router and firewall configuration and support
Day to day working knowledge of Windows Server and VMWare environments
MS SQL Server administration knowledge
Experience with network logging, auditing, and correlation
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft O365 enterprise environment expertise
Ability to write scripts for frequently used processes and commands
Knowledge and expertise in supporting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, cabling, switching, and router connectivity
User support skills and the ability to quickly respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically and occasionally during nonstandard hours
Excellent oral communication skills and the innate ability to juggle multiple tasks
Ability to efficiently and accurately diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
MS GovCloud or AWS GovCloud experience is desired
Must be able to obtain a DoD government security clearance
Must be able to physically install and lift rack mountable servers and data center equipment
