Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Required Qualifications:

10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description
Senior level typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
Senior level may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Education Requirements:

Graduate level degree or 10 additional years of experience may be substituted

Interview process

Initial phone screening with recruiter to assess qualifications, explain the position, and tell the candidate about the company. Depending on the position, the candidate may then have a second interview (either phone or in person) with the hiring manager or other technical staff on the contract for which the candidate has applied for a position. Candidates for which an offer request is desired will then provide references to be checked and PSI Pax will also validate education and security clearance level (or a pre-screen for ability to obtain a clearance will be conducted by our Facility Security Officer if the position requires a clearance).
