This person will be responsible for taking a critical eye at our products both in documenting and testing new builds and products as well as investigating issues on the front lines.
This person will work closely with the development, support, and project management teams to collaborate and solve business problems in an agile development environment. The Software First Responder will also be responsible for triaging and prioritizing their testing and troubleshooting to meet overall business needs.
Responsible for developing and executing testing of our software products and troubleshooting issues discovered
Perform and document comprehensive test plans
Responding and delegating tier 2 support and service tickets and escalating appropriately
Must be comfortable taking a critical eye from multiple viewpoints to evaluate and troubleshoot products and communicating back to the company
Experience within software development organizations
Must possess communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in test plan writing, tier 1/2 support, and/or project management skills a plus
Possess strong time-management, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
Ability to learn new technology at fast pace
Education / Experience :
BS/BA or related industry experience
Minimum of 1 or more years of professional experience in software development
