We’re ideally looking for someone with:
Skills and knowledge in implementing technical infrastructures in research data services, applying agreed technical service functions, service delivery and project management processes
A previous experience of implementing software development methodologies including testing and deployment tools and software performance analysis
Knowledge and experience with any of the following - MySQL and PostgreSQL, AWS, Elastic search, Solr, Java Script, Linux, JSON, PHP, REST, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, React-Redux
About the role
You’ll make a significant contribution to the delivery of the UK Data Service: the UK’s largest collection of social, economic and population data resources.
You’ll support the development and success of the UK Data Service, translating user requirements into the overall architecture, specification, design, and implementation of new systems, working with internal and external providers.
