SAP - Sr. Analyst-Logistics Execution, Shipping
Salary: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 /year
The Senior Analyst is a key member of the team responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of the global Plan-to-Manufacture solution. Position collaborates with a diverse Global ERP and IT group as well as corporate and regional business teams to achieve strategic goals and objectives by delivering a world-class solution.
Work closely with the business user community and IT colleagues to plan and execute global planning projects, enhancements, and long-term support.
Provide support to the business in their use of SAP and ensure its highest possible use.
Support TM processes in areas like configuration of LTL, FTL, Transportation Master Data, Transportation Order Management, Quotation and RFQ Management, end-to-end Order Management, Freight Order Management, Freight Procurement and Capacity Planning, Package, Load and Dispatching Planning, execution and monitoring, Optimization of ERP Logistics integration, Interactive planning, Subcontracting and Tendering, and elsewhere. Coordinate with the Q2C, PTP, and RTR team members.
Should have adequate knowledge of real-time tracking, monitoring, exception handling and analysis of purchase orders, deliveries, shipments (Freight Orders, Units, Parcels, Vehicles, Containers) and freight conditions (e.g. secured transportation) to ensure visibility on status, location, history, analytics etc. in a production support environment.
Stay current on the latest that SAP has to offer to ensure we are leveraging the latest in technologies related to transportation and that the company is a leader in its use of SAP.
Continually identify opportunities to standardize and simplify transportation (and other) processes company-wide.
Work side-by-side with the business users/customers to understand their needs.
Ensure solutions are fully tested.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
At least two full cycle TM implementations. SAP S4 Hana experience preferred. 5-6 years of SAP experience required.
Expert knowledge and hands-on configuration skills in TM.
Global implementation experience is strongly desired.
Proven experience in an Enterprise team management role and previous responsibility for functional and technical guidance over the whole project lifecycle.
Prior experience with development and facilitation of Blueprint workshops on multiple process areas and demonstrated strong integration experience within SAP.
Proven experience developing training content and providing knowledge transfer to business “Super Users”
Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts; handle shifting priorities in a flexible manner.
Exceptional communication skills: Influence, collaboration, and expectation management to work with Global Information Technology and business teams to deliver expected results.
Working knowledge of EWM desired
Ability to read and/or debug ABAP code desired
