The Senior Software Engineer is a key member of the SCRUM team and works with the Product Owner and/or Manager of Software Development to ensure the delivery of the SCRUM team meets agreed-upon standards.


What You’ll Be Doing

Support the full life cycle of products including design/requirements, coding/programming, unit testing, and maintenance
Participate in the designing of innovated development solutions for enhancements as well as improvements to the existing software.
Effectively manage deadlines and release quality code.
Contribute to the evaluation of industry best practices and emerging technologies to determine feasibility
Perform development, unit testing, implementation and documentation
Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals
Become a deep application and technology skillset subject matter expert
Mentor Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers


What You’ll Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as computer science, mathematics, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years development experience with complex software products
Strong hands-on skills programming with .NET, VB.NET (C# experience is a plus), T-SQL
Strong object-oriented design and object-oriented development skills including design patterns
Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, documentation, design, and implementation
Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL / relational database design and data modeling skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What’s Good to Know

Occasional Travel, usually no more than 3-5 days per month
Occasional on-call/after-hours support expected
