The Test Engineer II role will prepare, conduct, and document various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements. The selected candidate will support a cyber development and integration tool which serves as an auditing and revision control repository for authorized users.
Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer on a contract of similar scale and scope.
A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience.
Four (4) years of experience with bug tracking software (i.e. Bugzilla).
Four (4) years of experience with OSI Model, TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and other basic network concepts.
Four (4) years of experience developing or testing software written in C/C++, Java, Perl and scripting languages.
Four (4) years of experience testing software on Windows, Linux and Solaris Platforms.
Two (2) years of experience estimating resources for testing task through the development of BOE documentation.
Experience creating use case workflows/system interface diagrams
Experience with automated test tools such as Bamboo
Experience with Python

We will host an initial phone screen. Candidates who fit baseline positions may be asked for a second phone screen with the Staffing Specialist if needed. Then, candidates will go through a technical interview (usually on-site) with a member of the Chiron team. Additional interviews may be required depending on the contract.
