An User Experience (UX) Designer act as both an analyst and a designer. For a product that has been released, designers evaluate user interactions, conduct usability studies and present findings and recommendations in a plan that drives future design improvements. For a product in development, designers develop the user story through task analysis, process mapping and user input.
This position requires an individual who can successfully work in an environment with frequently evolving needs. You’ll be expected to work on-site at our client site five days a week.
Drive creative brainstorm sessions and ideation workshops along with reviewing and approving designs
Support new business initiatives and work with cross-disciplinary team to help define and execute concept direction to meet the clients’ business needs
Identify customer needs and requirements by working closely with internal and external stakeholders
Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction diagrams, pattern libraries, and user flows to convey the design
Analyze existing systems and understand new needs of the business and target audience
Conduct regular usability testing and provide actionable reports summarizing results
Document discussions, concepts and the finalized scope
Oversee and contribute to the development of the product
Conduct and perform testing to validate that the developed functionality is in accordance with the scope (UAT)
Coordinate activities with all artistic and creative departments to ensure that deadlines are met and project goals are achieved
Lead by example, inspiring others with the quality of your own work, your ability to clearly articulate your vision and design decisions
Presenting work to internal teams and clients, encouraging collaborative dialogue and building consensus around solutions
Contribute to the development of design best practices and design systems
At least 3 years of experience in UX design
Online portfolio or samples of work showing relevant experience
Self-directed but also collaborative
Experience in rapid prototyping
Creative and detail oriented
Familiar with front-end development
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with one of these tools but not limited to the likes of MarvelApp, Axure, Sketch or Balsamic Mockups
